Exchange Guide

This guide outlines everything you need to know before sending a container back to Haus of Moxies for exchange. Reviewing this information ensures a smooth process and helps us keep materials in circulation responsibly.

Before You Send Your Container

All containers must meet the requirements below to qualify for exchange and online store credit.

Containers must be:

  • Fully cleaned

  • Completely dry

  • Free of wax residue

  • Free of strong fragrance oil buildup

Containers that do not meet these standards may be retired and will not qualify for store credit.

How to Properly Clean Your Container

We recommend following our Clean-Out Instructions before shipping your container.

Best practice:

  1. Use the freezer method to remove remaining wax

  2. Follow with the hot water method to remove residue

  3. Wash with warm water and mild dish soap

  4. Dry thoroughly before packing

Acceptable vs. Not Acceptable Condition

  • Minor surface wear consistent with normal use

  • Clean glass with no wax or oil residue

❌ Not Acceptable

  • Cracked or chipped glass

  • Heat-damaged or warped vessels

  • Heavy staining, residue, or buildup

  • Containers that cannot be safely reused

Haus of Moxies reserves the right to retire vessels that are damaged, excessively worn, or otherwise unsuitable for reuse.

If a container is retired, no store credit will be issued.

Shipping Your Container

  • Pack containers securely to prevent damage during transit

  • We recommend padding glass vessels adequately

  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated

Once received, containers are inspected before store credit is issued.

  • The Exchange Program issues online store credit only

  • Store credit is redeemable exclusively at hausofmoxies.com

  • Store credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash

  • Credit applies to future online purchases only
