Container Clean-Out Instructions
Properly cleaning your candle container allows it to be repurposed, reused, or refilled. Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure the container is ready for its next life.
Step 1: Freezer Method
Place your finished candle in the freezer for 3–4 hours
Once frozen, use a spoon to gently tap and loosen the hardened wax
Remove all large wax pieces
Peel off the wick sticker from the bottom of the container
Step 2: Hot Water Method
Heat water until hot—but not boiling
Pour the water into the container, leaving space at the top
Any remaining wax will melt and float to the surface
Once cooled, discard the wax and water appropriately
Wipe the inside of the container with a paper towel
Step 3: Final Rinse
Wash the container with warm water and mild dish soap.
Dry completely before reuse, repurposing, or return.
Important Notes
Never pour melted wax directly down the drain
Do not use boiling water or open flame
Containers must be fully clean and dry to qualify for refill or trade-in programs
